Empathy Animals C.I.C.
Delivering comfort, well being & connection
Empathy Animals C.I.C is a non profit organisation founded to create well being dogs for schools and other settings in the UK, not only to help their beneficiaries to engage, communicate and have fun, but to showcase best practice in creating a working environment where dogs can thrive and enjoy their lives too.
Empathy Animal partnerships are special in that they quietly seem to understand the people they help merely by their presence alone.

These amazing animals, alongside their dedicated guardians, volunteer their time to visit schools, veterans, care homes & hospitals, bringing warmth and companionship where it’s needed the most.

Guardians of Empathy Animals are dedicated not only to their visits but also to their animals’ well-being. Driven by a meaningful or compelling purpose, they invest time in coaching their dog allowing them the chance to choose whether they want to 'go to work' via regular temperament assessments with Therapy Dog Training UK's training and assessment framework.
As first class dog guardians, through training themselves, they learn to better understand their companion animal whilst strengthening their bond. They acknowledge they are responsible for advocating and ensuring their dogs lead happy, fulfilling lives while ensuring a safe environment and joyful experience for those they visit.

These partnerships are more than just heartwarming—they set a gold standard in therapy dog preparation and training. Empathy Animals help educate their therapy setting and communities on how to care for, respect and safely interact with dogs, fostering a deeper connection with animals in a world where such experiences can be limited or even non-existent.
